Smiles Change Lives (SCL) is a non-profit organization that provides access to orthodontic treatment for qualified children from families that cannot afford the full cost of braces. Based in Kansas City, MO, the program has treated more than 11,000 children since 1997, making it the nation’s leader in providing access to orthodontic care for qualified youth.
Several partnering orthodontists in the Anchorage area have immediate openings to treat children with braces who qualify.

Orthodontic treatment for children is available in 2017 for families that qualify. Openings will go fast. Once filled, a waiting list will be established.
Our donated braces program is available in cities around the Anchorage area in Alaska (AK) including Anchorage, Bird, Chugiak, Eagle River, Elmendorf Air Force Base, Fort Richardson, Eklutna, and Girdwood to name a few.
New providers are added in an ongoing basis as the need arises.
Smiles Change Lives works with the AAO (American Association of Orthodontists), and has been endorsed as the preferred access to care program by several state orthodontic associations.
